If the "Loudness War" didn't matter then music wouldn't keep getting louder.

Dennis?

Great interview guys!! Love hearing people such as Michael talk about musical philosophy!!
👍
👍
🙏🏼
awesome
Great conversation, really useful. 😎
21:18 Pretty sure the band Delost is referring to is The Warning, and the album is Keep Me Fed, which was being worked on when this interview was uploaded. The album was released 28 June 2024. Based on comments I've read on social media about Keep Me Fed, it's very rare for anyone to say the album's songs can match the live versions, which sound amazing. Their touring sound man is a wizard at his craft.
love it ! have him back on !!
Great to chat to you Mike. Happy New Year to you and the MYM Family! dB.x
Hey jay it's your cousin Jamie if you know any up and coming country bands..ihave a good name for a band called rusty trux.that all I drive. And a song title named .parking lot beers.i work.long term care.see death.every.day
Thank you to Mike who’s a great interviewer. He really knows how to get the best out of who’s he’s interviewing
MIKE MARRA 🤘🤘🤘
🎶❤️🔥🙌🏼🙏🏼
Merry Christmas 🙏🏼
Merry Christmas 🎄 Mike
I love what Drew says, "there is no need to speak down to each other". Deffo recognise Drew from back in the day - completely made up that he, as one of the good guys, is doing well with his journey
Love this kinda talk
🙏🏼
Guys, massive thanks for a top top interview. To hear someone such as Drew speak so honest and openly was refreshing to hear!! Not easy to open up like that. Really enjoyed this, thank you
🔥 Great interview
Thank you so much
@MasterYourMix you're welcome
Man this is heVey for me. We have such similar story. Like almost exact same story. I just havent had my shot yet. 🤞🤞
I hope this was inspirational for you
@ Sure was man. I think we all go thru times of doubt and it seems like a video like this will come along at just the right time to carry us thru 👌
I have uninstalled my SPHERE DLX and put it away. It worked before the upgrade on my Mac OS Sequoia. And you say it's not registered and it worked anyway. I had in my Apollo twin console insert box, Sphere DLX had a DEMO expired in it. I needed a real person to guide me.
Bassani is truly an incredible professional. His work on many bands' albums speaks for itself!!
Oh yeah ! My dude Samuel is the MAN ! Congratz 🎉
♥♥
Love and peace Chris
Hell yeah Kenny 🤘🏻
Kenny is the best! 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Im confused, automation is there to have things same every time, but dont want an assistant because things aren’t same every time 🤔
besides the amount of new information, this podcast makes me feel a lot of VALIDATION that my ideas and perspective on these concepts make sense. keep up the great work!!
Thank you so much! That's my goal with the show :)
Andrew strikes again: so smart and practical!
Brilliant tip - just it this afternoon on some vocals recorded without a pop filter 22 years ago (no chance of the vocalist redoing them in the same way 😂) - game changer, thank you
Which Andy Wallace mix is he talking about at 27:40 ?
Amazing interview. Great questions
This is pure gold. Thanks!
🙏🏼
One of the best doing it. 🐐
he also said he uses analog gear in the recording process
Man, I really enjoyed this interview! Pete is awesome!
Thanks so much!
Awesome interview once again!had been searching for more podcasts with Tyler.Never did I think I would be jamming a Falling In Reverse album from Start to end on repeat but that's exactly what I've been doing with the new album.Tyler creates 'moments' essentially with every song and makes each part as good as it could possibly be.He's really inspired me to treat my own productions in the same way.
really underrated podcast, keep with the great work man, cheers from brasil!
Thank you so much. That means a ton!
Really enjoyed this interview, what a cool way to run your own record label!! Also I love it when producers/engineers talk of keeping it simple and being able to work fast when inspiration strikes and not get bogged down with obsessing about certain gear. Big thanks to you both
Love Gordon’s spirit!! So pleased to hear how he found the courage to put his own music out. Great to hear some of his recording techniques as well. Thanks for a great interview
great interview! i LOVE the chats so it was really cool to hear about their recording process!
This is like a UA-cam hidden gem!😮😮😮 Thanks man!
